INTRODUCTION

Our personal love affair with Florida has prevailed over a number of years and we have, during that time, learned many things about the world’s greatest holiday destination, as well as the holiday homes to be found there. When we purchased our own holiday home in the Orlando area, we put this experience to good use and set out to create something just a little bit special.

Choice of location played a key part in our decision, hence our selection of the stylish Countryside development on Tuscan Ridge. Favoured by wealthy Floridians, as well as those seeking prestige holiday homes, Countryside provides the perfect base from which to enjoy a memorable Orlando holiday.

Having selected a prestige location, allied to a builder constructing a superior quality of villa, our next objective was to further upgrade key features of our chosen villa style. Then we had to furnish and equip it to a quality and level rarely found in holiday homes, even those costing a great deal more to rent. In doing this, we opted out of the basic 'off-the-shelf' furniture and equipment packages that are a feature of most holiday homes, and we chose to source, select, purchase and install every single item personally.

From the furniture to the pictures (of which many are originals); from the kitchen equipment to the crockery, glasses and utensils; from the towels to the bedding; from the pool furniture to the giant gas barbecue; from the lighting to the entertainment; from the fantastic games room to the landscaped plot; no expense has been spared in an effort to provide our guests with everything they could ever want or need for the perfect holiday.

Whilst our aim was to create one of the best holiday homes in the Orlando area, we also wanted to ensure that it was not fussy or pretentious. Although we require a security deposit (not at all unusual) as a reflection of the quality of what is provided, our villa has been imaginatively designed to be contemporary and prestigious, yet still remain utterly practical for families and children. It is after all a holiday home and, whilst we hope our guests appreciate the efforts to which we have gone and the attention to detail that we have incorporated into it, we also want them to feel relaxed and able to enjoy their stay to the full.
